CALLING ALL TEENS
State Capitol Day is coming up on March 14th! This is a great opportunity for 20 Middle School and High School students to come to the state capitol and work as a page for the day. Students will meet with state representatives and have an opportunity to advocate for themselves and illustrate the need for affordability, access to healthcare and the importance of a cure!

Please visit http://ow.ly/TZKp30mpT5u to apply.

WE NEED YOUR FACE!
JDRF Georgia wants to take your face and your story to Washington D.C. In March,Ā  as our Georgia delegates go to D.C. for Government Day, they would like to take a book to share your stories with our legislators to illustrate what a cure for T1D would mean to the people of Georgia. Help us by sending a high resolution picture and your answer to the statement ā€œTo me, a cure for Type 1 would mean….ā€. Please submit your photos and statements to t1dcsra@gmail.com by February 15. Be a part of helping secure funding for a CURE!

SAVE THE DATE
Together with Childrenā€™s Healthcare of Atlanta, we are happy to present Taking Diabetes to College, a day for high school students and parents to learn how to manage this transition. Mark your calendars for April 13th!
