Countdown to the AT/T1 Challenge

in

Next month, from April 24-26, hikers with diverse backgrounds and skill levels will come together for one reason – to take on the Appalachian trail while raising money for T1D research.

The adventure begins at Amicalola Falls State Park in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains, at the trailhead of the 2,000 mile-long Appalachian Trail. Hikers can choose either the 10 mile (roundtrip) route to the one-of-a-kind Len Foote Hike Inn and back or 18 miles (roundtrip) to and from the summit of scenic Springer Mountain and back.

As a hiker, you’ll commit to a minimum fundraising goal of $1,500 for individuals or $3,000 for a family of up 4. Once you register, you will receive access to your very own webpage and fundraising support tools. Fundraising packages include pre and post hike festivities, all meals and lodging at the Amicalola Falls Lodge.

Together, we’ll raise money to help fund research for better treatments and a cure for type 1 diabetes. Make a difference and register now.
